cor it's so weird!I used to catch countdown in dribs and drabs over the years.if I ever managed to catch it.then in about 2001 I think that carol Barnes was on and so was Geoffrey Durham(the great soprendo/suprendo?once married to Victoria wood?)I watched it for a few weeks.then I missed it for long spells.then in 2005,season 53? I decided to set the timer to record it every day.i had just watched the final and UPTO that Richard pointed out a ninety year old man in the audience..then just after,I woke up at 9 pm facing the mirror which reflected the TV screen,half asleep.i turned on the TV and the channel five news said"tributes are still pouring in for countdown host ,Richard Whiteley!" I nearly had a heart attack.when carol said "the clock stopped ticking a bit too soon!" it was just absolutely heartbreaking to watch his last ever show.i was playing football inside giggleswick school and a lad said"this is Richard Whiteley's old school and I think that Russell Harry also came here!" what a great guy that he was.what happened in the hospital?

Whoever is writing this show is coming to my trivia shows for sure. 🤣

So I’m watching this on 2024, and I can not believe how attracted I am to Carol Vorderman. I’m 34, and based on loose research she’s at least 50 here, but my god I can not believe it. She might be the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. There’s a lot of bias here, especially based on my own age, but I didn’t know a human could age that gracefully. Even if work was done, I don’t know, she’s absolutely gorgeous.
